Obituary

Willie M. Watkins, age 79, of Jacksonville, passed away Saturday, April 2, 2022.

A viewing will be held 4:00 PM - 6:00 PM on Friday, April 8, 2022 at Saunders Funeral Home, 210 Bell Fork Rd. Jacksonville, NC 28540.

A Celebration of Ms. Watkins’ life will be conducted at 12:00 PM on Saturday, April 9, 2022 at Free and Independent Apostolic Church, 475 Marine Blvd., Jacksonville, NC 28540.

Interment will follow at Onslow Memorial Park.

Her love and memories will remain in the hearts of her children, Bishop Derrick Johnson, Jr. (Neila) of Blairsville, PA, Curtinese Johnson Reeves of Marietta, GA, Pastor Tamara Johnson of Silver Spring, MD, Curtis B. E. Johnson, Jr. of Kinston, Gabrielle A. Johnson of Jacksonville; niece/sister, Charlesetta Horton of Winston-Salem, 14 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchild and a host of other relatives and friends.
