Willie Broadus Obituary
Mrs. Willie R. Broadus went to be with our LORD on Thursday January 2nd. She was a native of Asheville, and the daughter of Della Miller.
Willie Ruth attended Asheville City Schools and graduated from Stephens Lee High School. She later moved to New York and worked at the U.S. Postal Service. She retired after fifty years of dedicated service.
Willie was preceded in death by her daughter, Sharon McCoy.
Left to cherish her memory is her daughter Gwen Peterson, four grandchildren, and her 1st cousin Gloria Johnson whom she called her daughter.
Services for Mrs. Willie Ruth Broadus will be held on Saturday, January 18th at 12:00pm at God's Promises Christian Fellowship, 14 Bartlett Street Asheville NC. There will be a 30 minute visitation starting at 11:30am. Burial will immediately follow the funeral at Sunset Cemetery.
