Virgil Antonio Robert Langford, 43, died on December 11, 2020. He was born on June 22,1977 in Asheville. He was the son of the late Virgil Sexton III, and the late Freddie Lee Langford.
Mr. Langford attended Asheville High School and played for the Asheville Grizzley’s Semi-Pro Football Team for a number of years. He loved joking around, and spending time with family and friends.
Left to cherish his memory are his daughters Kerri L. Moore, Dezanikquia A. Langford, A-iah L. McDaniel, and Aniya Smith, sisters Shamika Langford, Karla Johnson, and Kimberly Johnson, honorary father Robert Cannady, special aunt Theresa Hopson, and a host of other aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
A Memorial Service honoring the life of Mr. Virgil Antonio Robert Langford will be held Saturday, December 19th at 1pm at the World Wide Baptist Tabernacle located on 85 Choctaw St. in Asheville. The service will be streamed live on Avery's Memorial Chapel's Face Book page.
