Therian “Big Nuke” Dewight Terry was born October 7, 1990 in Asheville North Carolina and departed life September 3, 2021.
He was a devoted brother, son, nephew, and friend. His presence alone grabbed your attention out of love, comfort, and fear. He was kindhearted, goofy, dominant, and loving. He appreciated life and he lived it the best way he knew how. His smile was contagious and his heart was pure gold. He was a born go getter and had dreams and aspirations that will be completed through the lives of his loved ones.
He is preceded in death by father Therian Edward, grandmother Shirley Thompson, great grandmother Mildred Hawkins and cousin Joseph Whiteside
Left to cherish his memory is his mother Annette Terry (step-father Kevin Simmons), siblings; Shamia Simpson (Charles Simpson), Doneka Terry (Quinneshia Terry), Dexter Terry, Theo Philson (Mariah Spearman), Tiara Garrison, niece Marley Philson, nephews; Ziyon Whitner and Landon Simpson, a host of aunts and uncles.
Funeral Services for Mr. Therian “Big Nuke” Dewight Terry will be held Saturday, September 11th at Nazareth 1st Missionary Baptist Church located at 146 Pine Street in Asheville. Viewing will be held at Avery’s Memorial Chapel located at 542 Hendersonville Road in Asheville on Friday, September 10th from 10:00am – 7pm. The service will be lived streamed on Avery Memorial’s Facebook page.
