With heavy hearts we would like to announce the passing of Mr. Robert Clyde "Junnie" Mosely, Jr., 63, of Asheville North Carolina. He entered eternal rest on Thursday October 20, 2022.
Born August 14,1959, he was the son of Mrs. Suetta Mosely and the late Robert Jones Mosely.
Junnie was known for his funny personality, thoughtful poems, and his daily words of affirmations. He always made you laugh and smile whenever you saw him. His favorite football team was the Pittsburgh Steelers, which he really enjoyed watching.
He was also preceded in death by a sister Susie Mosely, brother Keith "Keddie" Mosely, nephew Keith Mosely, II, and brother-in-law Grover Whiteside, Jr.
Other than his mother, he is also survived by his daughter Tiffany C. Shivers, twin granddaughters Paris and Anaiya Shivers, grandson Jayven Campbell, sisters Diane Mosely and Denise Robinson (Anthony), sister-in-law Teresa, nieces Candi Martin, Jessica and Kendra, nephews Qaadir Martin, Karah Anderson, Michael Mosely, Joe Taylor, Patrick, Kedrick, and Ken, Aunt Joanne Harper, Uncle Johnny Whitmire, and a host of many cousins and friends whom he loved with all of his heart. Robert "Junnie" Mosely will be truly missed, loved, and never forgotten by many people closest to him.
May his soul rest in peace, and let us not forget the echoes of his sincere voice and spirit as he would say, "I loveee you with a CAPITAL L," and we going to leave you with this, "HAPPY FRIDAY." (Lol) We love you Junnie. Rest on!!!!
A Funeral Service to honor the life of Mr. Robert "Junnie" Mosely Jr. will be held on Friday, October 28th at Nazareth First Baptist Church (146 Pine St, Asheville), at 2pm. He will lie in state from 1pm until the beginning of the service. Viewing will be held at Avery's Memorial Chapel on Thursday October 27th from 1pm - 7pm. The funeral will be live streamed on Avery's Memorial Chapel's Facebook page.
