Patrick Burton Gilliam was born on March 29, 1995 and transitioned from “Life” to “Life Everlasting” on Easter Sunday morning April 12, 2020. A native of Arden, he was the son of Darren DeAngelo Gilliam and Kim Victoria Williams Gilliam. Patrick was a graduate of TC Roberson High School and was a true Washington Redskins fan, in which he loved attending games with his dad. He loved and played baseball, travel basketball, and football throughout his life. Motorcycle riding was a great joy of his life.

He was a gentle giant with a heart of gold who had a smile which would light up any room. Patrick loved and cherished the time he spent playing with his nephew John, and spent countless hours with his best friend Eric Robinson. He was always there with a helping hand for anyone who needed it.
Patrick leaves a legacy of love to his parents, brother Kendall DeAngelo Gilliam of Arden, nephew John DeAngelo Gilliam of Arden, maternal grandparents Jacqueline (Pat) Williams of Arden and Ernest and Malinda Duncan of Brevard, paternal grandparents John (Billy) and Brenda Gilliam of Arden, aunts Lark James (Robert) of Kennesaw GA, Tammy Kelly (Fred) of Travelers Rest SC, and Chelsea Duncan of Fletcher, uncles John Gilliam (Sharon) of Albuquerque NM, and Eric Watley (Janine) of Douglasville GA, many great aunts, uncles, cousins, relatives and friends.
