Mod'esti Synai Renae Lewis

After a brief stay, lil' Mod'esti Synah Renee Lewis returned back to Heaven on Saturday, January 17, 2026. She was born November 28, 2025 in Asheville, NC, to Synia Rhodes and Malik Lewis, both of Asheville.

Mod'esti was preceded in death by her great-grandmother Linda Ann Rhodes, grandfather Milton Lewis, and uncle Ke’von Ailes.

Other than her parents, Mod’esti’s legacy lives through grandfather John-Paul Nelson, grandmother Rochelle Rhodes, 18 aunts, 8 uncles, many other family members and friends.

A Memorial Service to honor the brief life of lil' Mod'esti will be held on Wednesday, January 28, 2026, at Worldwide Missionary Baptist Church (85 Choctaw St.), at 2pm. The service will be live streamed on Avery's Memorial Chapel's Facebook page.
