Meg Frances Hall was born to the late Frank and Oredia Roland on November 18, 1950, in Marion, NC. She graduated in one of the last classes of South French Broad High School in 1968. Meg received her Associates Degree in Early Childhood Education from Blanton’s Business College in Asheville, and began her teaching career at Claxton Elementary School. In 1973, she enlisted in the United States Army. Afterwards, she worked as a supervisor for the Department of Social Services in Saint Charles, Missouri.
Preceding her in death was her mother and father, Frank and Oredia Roland, and sisters Drucilla Roland, Hattie Roland-Cantrell, and Rosalyn Roland, all of Asheville.
Meg leaves to cherish her memories her wonderful husband of 43 years, Arthur Lee Hall of Asheville, son Philip Hall (La Toya), daughter Kisha Hall-Hill (Anthony) both of Asheville, brother Alden Roland of Pender, NC, sister Regina Hall of Asheville, special sisters Anita Brooks (Richard), Dorothy Waterson (Douglas) both of Sanford, NC, grandchildren Paris Hall, Le’Ashley Hall, TyNieka Hall, Arianna O’Hannon, and Sa’Niah Hall-Gardner, great-grandchildren Pharaoh Hall and Zaylin Smith, Forever friend Mary Lou Greenlee of Raleigh, NC, and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
Mrs. Meg Frances Hall will be laid to rest during a private family memorial.
