LORETTA YVETTE OWENS LESANE was born February 14, 1955, to Doris Jean Owens and Edward Baxter. She died on November 18, 2021 at the age of 66.

Loretta is survived by her daughter Rhoda Weaver, son-in-law Robert weaver, grandchildren; Moses Weaver of San Diego, Robert Weaver II, David Weaver, Sharai Weaver, Joshua Weaver, and Isshiah Weaver all of Asheville, brothers; Charlton Owens, Stanley Forney both of Asheville, five great-grandchildren that she adored.

She was a minister for many years and spent her life trying to show people God’s love through compassion and kindness. She touched many lives and made an impact. She was greatly loved and will be missed.

A Memorial Service to honor the life of Mrs. Loretta Yvette Owens Lesane will be held on Saturday, November 27, 2021 at 1:00pm at Shiloh AME located at 95 Shiloh Road in Asheville.
