Kynzi Rae Cooper, 10, went home to be with Jesus on Tuesday, January 23, 2024, at 10:21am. She was given to us October 12, 2013, to spread her love and joy, and leave her piercing memory behind. A native of Asheville, Kynzi was the heartbeat of so many. She lit up every room with her beautiful smile. Anyone who has encountered her loving, infectious spirit will always remember her.
Kynzi was truly an earth angel. She brought joy to every room that she entered, and she did not meet a stranger. She loved to sing, she loved to go to church, she loved to pray, she loved to play with her friends, and she LOVED to play with her dolls. She loved playing outside, hugs, dancing and crafts, her friends and her teachers, her dogs, and she LOVED softball. She was an active member of church, and a performer with Leaf Global Arts.
Kynzi was a truth teller. If you needed to behave yourself, needed encouragement, had a pimple, needed to shave, lost weight (or gained weight), she was your source. Kynzi was the spokeswoman for her introverted friends and anyone else who was afraid to speak up. She was their voice, and a beautiful voice it was. She was never afraid to sing in public or on the stage. Her influence will forever remain in the lives of everyone who knew her.
Her life will forever be cherished by her parents Leslie Armstrong (Gio), and Philip Cooper (Renee), sisters Londyn, Arleigh, Naomi, Julionna, and Rosa, aunts Kisha, Natalie, Emily, and Shellie, her best friend Ivy, grandparents Suzanne Maddox, Alfred and Renne Williams, William “Papa Sii” Cooper, Nanna Pam and PawPaw tone, Lib and Tommy, and Ms. Debra and Papa Smurf, and a host of many other cousins, classmates, and friends.
Kynzi will forever be singing in our hearts!
A Funeral Service to honor the life of Kynzi will be held on Saturday, February 3, 2024, at Biltmore Church - West Asheville Campus (509 Smokey Park Hwy, Candler, NC) at 4pm. She will lie in state one hour prior to the funeral. Viewing will be held at Harvest Time Assembly of God (225 Summit St.), on Friday, February 2, 2024, from 3pm - 7pm.
