Kendall DeAngelo Gilliam

Kendall DeAngelo Gilliam was born on September 29,1991 and transitioned from “Life” to “Life Everlasting” on October 3, 2024.

A native of Arden, he is the son of Darren DeAngelo Gilliam and Kim Victoria Williams Gilliam. Kendall graduated from TC Roberson High School and attended NC A&T State University. He was always handy around the house, loved all things about cars and the New Orleans Saints. He was proceeded in death by his brother Patrick Burton Gilliam and grandfather John W. Gilliam Sr., affectionately known as "Pa".

Other than his parents, Kendall leaves a legacy of love to his son John DeAngelo Gilliam of Arden, maternal grandparents Jacqueline "Pat" Williams of Arden, and Earnest and Melinda Duncan of Brevard, paternal grandparent Brenda Quick Gilliam of Arden, aunts Lark James (Robert) of Kennesaw GA, Tammy Kelly (Fred) of Travelers Rest, SC, and Chelsea Duncan  of Brevard, uncles John Gilliam (Sharon) of  Albuquerque NM, and Eric Watley (Janine) of Douglasville GA, many cousins, family and friends.

A Funeral Service to honor the life of Kendall will be held on Tuesday, October 22, 2024, at St. John Baptist Church (14 Legend Dr), at 1pm. He will lie in state one hour prior to the funeral. Viewing will be held on Monday, October 21, 2024, at Avery's Memorial Chapel from 12pm - 7pm. The service will be live streamed on Avery's Memorial Chapel's Facebook page.
