Elder Keith Edward Simuel went home to be with the LORD on Friday July 16, 2021. He was born March 15,1964 to Maxine Simuel Jones and his stepdad Nathaniel Jones.
Elder Simuel was a very outgoing person who loved his family and church family. He gave his life to Christ at an early age, and remained devoted to the church and his family.
He attended Sycamore Temple Church of God In Christ, faithfully serving under Pastor Samuel L. Payne Jr. and Lady Janice Payne. A proud graduate of Asheville High School Class of 1983, he later went on to graduate from culinary school. Keith will be remembered as a wonderful foot soldier for Christ, and a beloved member of the Asheville community. A friend to all who knew him, he will be greatly missed.
Viewing will be held from 10am - 5pm on Wednesday, July 21st and Thursday, July 22nd, 10am - 7pm on Friday, July 23rd, and 10am - 1pm on Saturday, July 24th at Avery's Memorial Chapel located at 542 Hendersonville Road, Asheville, NC. A Memorial Service honoring the life of Elder Keith Simuel will be held at Sycamore Temple Church of God in Christ on Saturday July 24th at 2pm, located at 11 N. Ann Street in Asheville, NC.
