Kealian Andrew Marvels, 15 of Asheville, NC unexpectedly passed away at home on Wednesday, February 9, 2022. He was born on August 7, 2006 to parents Richard James Marvels and Yvonne Fate.
Kealian was a sophomore at Erwin High School. He participated in Jr. ROTC, was a gamer, liked playing football, basketball, cooking and washing dishes. He loved reading the Bible, many other books, was a member of the Youth Group at Mount Zion Missionary Baptist Church, and loved having boys night at Aunt Kim’s.
He is proceeded in death by his maternal grandmother Mary Wright-Fate.
Surviving are parents Richard Marvels (April), mother Yvonne Fate, brothers Richard “RJ” Marvels, Markel Marvels, and Ashton Davis, sisters Kayleigh Marvels and Natalie Fate, grandparents Sherrie Roland (Jimmy), Richard Marvels (Keisha), Dennis Fate, Sr., and Joe and Barbara Byrd, aunts Latrice Roland (Willie), Elizabeth Fate, and Angela Fate Fuller (Jeremy), uncles Joseph (Ariel), Robert Mills (Carleigh), Tyson Goodlet, and Dennis Fate, Jr., best friend Ian Romero, favorite cousin Keion Conley, a host of great aunts, great uncles, cousins and friends.
A Funeral Service to celebrate the life of Kealian will be held Friday, February 18th at 2pm at Mount Zion Missionary Baptist Church located at 47 Eagle Street in Asheville. Viewing will be held 1 hour prior to the service. Kealian will be laid to rest at Mount Olive Baptist Church Cemetery located at 40 Mount Olive Church Rd, Mars Hill, NC 28754. The service will be live streamed on Avery's Memorial Chapel's Face Book page.
