Kavon Montrey Clayton, 32 passed away on Tuesday, September 7, 2021 at Memorial Mission Hospital. He was born in Asheville, NC on February 23,1989 to Hall Sams, Jr. and Vanessa Clayton.
Kavon was a loving caring father, brother, grandson and he cherished both his parents. He had a heart of gold and would give you the shirt off his back. He had charm and style and if you knew him you loved him. Kavon had several nicknames such as Waaco, Pee Head, Lil Dude, KC, Cool Dude, Ant Man and many more.
He is preceded in death by his son, (King) K’Syon Clayton.
Left to cherish Kavon's memory is his father, Hall Sams, Jr., his mother Vanessa Clayton, daughter Tatyana Anderson, brother Darren Clayton, maternal grandparents Arnold and Barbara Ann Allen, paternal grandparents Hall and Mary Sams, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, many more family members and friends.
A funeral service to honor the life of Mr. Kavon Montrey Clayton will be held on Friday, September 17th, at 1pm at Nazareth First Missionary Baptist Church located at 146 Pine Street in Asheville. Burial will be held immediately following the service at Violet Hill Cemetery located at 454 Hazel Mill Road in Asheville. Viewing will be held on Thursday, September 16th from 12pm - 7pm at Avery's Memorial Chapel located at 542 Hendersonville Road, Asheville, NC. The funeral will be live streamed on Avery's Memorial Chapel's Face Book page.
