Karen (Missy) Davidson Middleton of Asheville NC transitioned to her eternal home on February 11, 2022, at her residence. She was born on June 24, 1966, to Mrs. Essie Ray Greene.

She was an Asheville High graduate. While in high school she was a member of the 4-H Club, Clogging Club, and played baseball for league in Asheville.  Missy loved to cook and bake. Making all kinds of bread was such a joy to her.  She worked at Steak and Ale and The Bistro at the Biltmore House for several years. 

She is preceded in death by her daughter LaShandra Davidson and brother Willie James David.

Left to cherish her memory is her mother Mrs. Essie Ray Greene, her daughter Shanice Hannibal, son Shawathon Falls, grandchildren; Shawathon Davidson, Jr., Amysha Davidson Clement Davidson, Toniyah Hensley, Kamatrey Robinson, Jasmine Cole, sisters; Brenda Rice of Greenville, SC, Eric Greene of Charlotte, NC, Pauline Keeter of Black Mountain, Royetta Davidson Of Asheville, Antonio Davidson of Asheville and special friend Neil Clark.

A Funeral Service to honor the life of Karen (Missy) Middleton will be held on Saturday, February 19th at 4:00pm at World Wide Baptist Tabernacle Church located at 85 Choctaw Street in Asheville. Viewing will be held 1 hour prior to the service and Friday, February 18th at Avery's Memorial Chapel 12:00pm - 7:00pm.  The service will be lived stream on Avery's Memorial Face Book page.
