Mr. Joseph Smith went home to be with our LORD on Friday, November 25, 2022.

A funeral to honor his life will be held Saturday December 10, 2022, at The Contemporary First Missionary Baptist Church (429 Harris St.), at 11:00am. He will lie in state from 10:00am until the beginning of the service. Viewing will be held at Avery's Memorial Chapel on Friday December 9, 2022, from 2pm - 6pm. The funeral will be live streamed on Avery's Memorial Chapel's Facebook page.
