Jordan Taylor Ashworth

Jordan Taylor Ashworth, 29, of Transylvania County, NC, passed away on January 17, 2024. Jordan is survived by his parents, Jennifer and Kenneth Ashworth, and his siblings Michael, David and Erin Ashworth and Chrystal and Arielle Lashley.

Jordan grew up in Bessemer City, NC, but he spent much of his life in Brevard. He enjoyed hiking, survivalist training, video games, music and playing with his cats, Gypsy and Laveaux. Jordan established the only Narcotics Anonymous group in Brevard. He was passionate about music. Jordan sang, composed and wrote songs. He also played the piano and guitar. Jordan would often send songs of favorite or recently discovered artists to friends and family members. Jordan was talented, introspective, intelligent, and kind. He will be loved and missed dearly.

A Memorial Service to honor the life of Jordan will be held on February 4, 2024, at Mary C. Jenkins Community Center at 2:30pm.
