Johnathan Tramaine Morris

Johnathan Tramaine Morris age 45 transitioned peacefully on Thursday December 8, 2022, in Phoenix, Arizona. Johnathan had a long career in the Manufacturing Industry. He was last employed at SK Food Group Incorporated as a Business Unit Manager in Tolleson, Arizona.

Johnathan was born November 27, 1977, in Asheville, North Carolina to his parents John Richard Morris and LaFredia Brown Morris. He is a graduate of Asheville High School. Johnathan received both his bachelor’s and master’s degree in industrial technology at North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University.

Johnathan was preceded in death by his father John Richard Morris, grandparents Albert and Katherine Brown, Ed Baird and Mildred Jones Morris, aunts Dorothy D. Brown and Dorothy M. Dawson and cousin Gary Briggs.

Left to Cherish his memory are his loving and caring mother LaFredia Brown Morris, sister Nakia Ricshawne Morris Titus (Dr. Jarrett Titus), nieces McKenzie and Brooklyn Titus and nephew Graham Titus all of Smyrna, GA.

Uncles Shuford Brown (Carolyn Brown), Durham NC, Robert Brown (Mary Brown) Atlanta, GA, Aunt Elinor Earle (Curtis Earle) Asheville, NC and vast array of cousins, friends and colleagues.

The family would like to thank his many friends in North Carolina, San Antonio, Iowa, Chicago, Baltimore, California, Atlanta and Phoenix. As well as extended family for their kind words, sentiments, condolences and prayers.

A funeral service to honor his life will be held Saturday, December 17, 2022, at Hill Street Baptist Church (135 Hill Street, Asheville, NC 28801) at 2:00PM. He will lie in state from 12pm until 1pm, and family will receive friends from 1pm till the beginning of the service. Burial will be held immediately after the funeral at Violet Hill Cemetary (454 Hazel Mill Rd. Asheville, NC 28806).
