Obituary
John Gardner of Swannanoa, NC passed from death to heavenly plains on the morning of September 6, 2022.
He was preceded in death by his mother Katie Moore Gardner, father Jessie Gardner Sr., son Timothy Gardner, sisters Mildred Gardner Wiggins, Addie Futrell and Margaret Freeman. Brothers Esau Gardner, Jacob Gardner, Jessie Gardner Jr. and Willie Lee Gardner.
Left to cherish his memories are his son Clarence Gardner, brother Columbus Gardner, granddaughter Takia and Serena Gardner, great granddaughter Jasmine Davis and Morgan Shreef and a plethora of nieces and nephews.
Mr. Gardner worked as a machinist of Beacon Manufacturing Company until his retirement. He was dearly thought of as a “gentle giant” by many who knew him.
