Jaylen DeShawn Boston, who was born on February 27, 1996, departed his earthly home to be with our LORD and SAVIOR on Monday, December 16, 2024. Jaylen was the son of Toni Curatolo (Tony) and Leroy Boston, Jr. (Crystal).
Jaylen graduated from Erwin High School in 2015. He was a beautiful spirit to all who knew him and will forever be known for his infectious laugh and smile. In Jaylen’s words, he would let you know, “I Did That!” Jaylen was a family man who loved his family very deeply. He was so happy to be engaged to his love, fiancée Maria Alvarado, and excited about becoming a father to their baby girl Zaia Boston who really blessed their union. He expressed his love for both until the end. Jaylen will greatly be missed, but his spirit will continue to live on.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents Peter A. Curatolo and Maria F. Curatolo, paternal grandmother Delois Irby, and great-grandfather Gilbert Hall, Sr.
In addition to his parents, fiancée, and baby girl, those left to cherish his memories are brothers Jawaun Boston, Amaree Freeman and Leroy Boston, III, sisters Kayla Boston, Heaven Boston, and Destiny Bailey, great-grandmother Plumie Hall, grandfather Leroy Boston, Sr., special aunts Michelle Curatolo, Melissa Blocker, Lisa Curatolo, Mashanna, and Valerie, uncles Peter Curatolo, Stephen, and Daniel, special cousins Taylor Cramond, Jasmine Byrd, Chris Blocker, Janella Blocker, Thomas, Jamison, Carter, Ricky Hall, Grayhmn, Phillip, and Christopher, and a host of other close relatives and friends.
