James "Dune Dune" Fair Obituary

James Edward Fair, known to family and friends as “Dune Dune” passed away unexpectedly at the age of 69 years on December 31, 2020.

A native of Asheville he was a three-sport athlete, playing baseball, track, football and was a Jack of all trades. He could do it all!

Mr. Fair is preceded in death by his parents Susie Topsy Simuel Fair and JC Fair.

James will be lovingly remembered by his children, Melinda Nicole Fair, James Jamal Fullwood, and Derick Akeem Eddington Sr., eight grandchildren Cameron Fair, Anessa Fullwood, Alana Fullwood, Zariah Frierson, Derick Eddington Jr., Ahrianna Eddington, Damien James Eddington, and Titus Eddington, other family members Hassie Mae Whiteside, Sam Greene, Janice Fair, David Fair, and Susie (Anna) Fair, and many other extended family members and dear friends.

He was a beloved father, grandfather, and friend. He will be missed deeply!

The family of Mr. James Edward Fair in honor of his memory will hold a memorial service at a later date.
