James David Miles, Jr. "Beeper"

James "Beeper" Miles, Jr., went home to be with our LORD on Saturday, August 23, 2025. 

A Funeral Service to honor the life of "Beeper" will be held on Saturday, September 13, 2025, at Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church (47 Eagle St.), at 1pm. He will lie in state one hour prior to the service. Burial will be at Sunset cemetery immediately following the funeral. The family will receive friends on Friday, September 12, 2025, at Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church from 6pm - 7pm. He can also be viewed at Avery's Memorial Chapel on Friday, September12, 2025, from 12pm - 4pm. The service will be live streamed on Avery's Memorial Chapel's Facebook page.
