Gerry Redfern of Asheville went home to be with our LORD on Saturday July 8, 2023.

A Funeral Service to honor the life of Gerry Redfern will be held on Tuesday July 18, 2023, at Tried Stone Missionary Baptist Church (100 Carroll Ave.), at 12pm. He will lie in state one hour prior to the service. Burial will be at 2pm after the funeral at the Western Carolina State Veteran Cemetery (Black Mountain, NC). Viewing will be held at Avery's Memorial Chapel on Monday July 17, 2023 from 10am to 7pm. The service will be live streamed on Avery's Memorial Chapel's Facebook page.
