Ernest Bernard Mills

With heavy hearts we would like to announce the passing of Mr. Ernest B. Mills, 58, of Asheville, NC. Born September 5, 1964, he was the son of Mrs. Shannon H. Adell and the late Mr. Ernest W. Mills.

Ernest graduated from N.C School for the Deaf where he enjoyed playing football. Although he grew up as a deaf young man, he was very independent. Ernest was much loved, and he loved his family. He loved to dance and would often have dance battles against one of his favorite cousins, Carlos.

He was preceded in death by his Father Ernest W. Mills, brother Frederick P. Mills, his grandparents Porter and Arena Mills of Union Mills, NC and Frederick and Ella Harper of Asheville. Left to Cherish his memories are his mother Shannon H. Adell of Fletcher, NC and his siblings Bernon Mills (Evelyn) of New Jersey, Philip Mills of High Point, Crystal Mills of Asheville, LaTonya Bell of Ohio, and Jason Tinsley of Michigan as well as several aunts, uncles and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.

A memorial service to celebrate the life of Mr. Ernest B. Mills will be set at a later date.
