Peacefully gone but never forgotten. Ella P. (Bobbie Girl) Arrington with angels and family by her side departed life during the early morning of November 1, 2019. She was born November 16, 1955 in Asheville, NC to Samuel and Vivian A. Arrington.
Bobbie Girl attended Asheville City Schools and worked for the City of Asheville Water Dept. for many years. She had many friends whom she loved spending time with while just being herself and having fun. During her lifetime, Bobbie was blessed with grandchildren and great-grandchildren whom she raised and showed unconditional love.
She was preceded in death by her mother Vivian Arrington and a very special aunt, Mary Whiteside Webber.
Left to cherish fond memories are her father, Samuel Arrington Sr.(Dorothy Mills) of Arden, daughter Lavonia Arrington of Miami FL, brother Samuel Arrington Jr. of Asheville, grandchildren Jakala Garner whom she raised, Nakeesha Pickens, and Zachary Pickens, great-grandchildren Tierra, Vivian, Mierra, Cuhmani, Da'Marion Arrington, Ava Chandler, Nyla Paul and Miracle Malden, niece Dominique Arrington (J. Cunningham), nephew Makell Arrington, special cousins Alice Crumbley (Dennis), Monica Arrington (Joseph), James and Royce Arrington.
The funeral service for Ella P. (Bobbie Girl) Arrington will be held on Saturday November 9, 2:00 pm at Tabernacle Missionary Baptist Church located at 56 Walton Street Asheville, NC. Burial will immediately follow the service at Sunset Cemetery.
