Mr. Edward Conley entered this life on February 19, 1960, to Father Earl Conley, Jr,. and Mother, the late Frances L. Payton Conley, and departed this life on Wednesday, June 8, 2022 at Mission Hospital. 

Known to many as "Eddie," Edward graduated from Asheville High School in 1978. Eddie worked for Biltmore Estate and enjoyed being the live entertainment for all of his cousins, nieces, and nephews. He was a devoted son and brother, also a provider for his significant other Ms. Pamela Rozzell and their granddaughter Makiya Sophia Foster. Eddie will be deeply missed and never forgotten.

Other than his mother, he was also preceded in death by an aunt, Catherine Conley Higgins.

Left to fondly cherish his memory is his father Earl Conley, Jr., significant other Pamela Rozzell, granddaughter Makiya Sophia Foster, stepson Gary Shuford (Felicia), brothers Tony (Sherre) and Christopher Conley, sister Natasha Conley, niece Franita "Keya" Conley, nephew "Rodriquis" Conley, great nieces, great nephews, and many other relatives and friends.

A Funeral Service to honor the life of Mr. Edward "Eddie" Conley will be held on Thursday June 16th at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church, 537 Concord Rd, Fletcher, NC, at 1pm. Family will receive friends at 12:30pm. Burial will immediately follow the service at the Mount Olive Church Cemetery in Mars Hill. Viewing will be held at Avery's Memorial Chapel from 12pm - 6pm.
