Dorothy "LUCILLE" Ray

Dorothy Lucille Flack Ray departed this life in the loving care of the John Keever Solace Hospice team on Sunday evening, February 3, 2019, after a brief illness.  During the days leading up to her death, she was surrounded by her family, listening to the voices of her loved ones from afar by phone, confused by Video Chat and hearing songs sung by her daughters.

The family invites her friends and colleagues to celebrate the remarkable life of Mrs. Ray at Tried Stone Missionary Baptist Church on Saturday, February 9, 2019 at 1PM.  After the memorial service, friends and colleagues will have an opportunity to meet her family and share their personal experiences with Mrs. Ray.

In lieu of flowers, Mrs. Ray requested that donations be made to a scholarship fund to be awarded in her honor through Tabernacle Missionary Baptist Church.  She selected Avery’s Memorial Chapel to complete her final wishes.
