Donnie D Curenton

Donnie Dewane Curenton, 44 of Asheville, NC, was a burst of sunshine and a courageous soul. He went to be with our LORD on March 12, 2024, at Mission Hospital.

Donnie attended A.C. Reynolds High School, where he later received his GED.He was a loving and fun person to be around. He enjoyed riding around the city, listening to his music, and doing a little two-step dance when the music was hitting just right.

Donnie was preceded in death by his Father, Richard Curenton. Donnie leaves to cherish his precious memories Koquita C.Copney(mother) Eric Copney,(sisters)Kimberly Hicks of Atlanta, GA, and Cassandra Curenton of Spartanburg, SC, many nieces and nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews, other relatives, and friends.  

A Memorial Service to honor Donnie Curenton's life will be held on Friday,March 22, 2024, at 1 p.m. at Worldwide Tabernacle Baptist Church (85 Choctaw St.). The service will be live-streamed on Avery's Memorial Chapel's Facebook page.
