Diarra Akil Fuller passed away on April 15, 2021 at the age of 45. He was the son of the late Phillip Fuller and the late Patricia Kelley.
Diarra was kind, loving, funny and always greeted you with a smile. He had a passion for computers and the Madden Football Game. He loved his family and people in general. He was always there to visit family and always stopping by to see his aunt Mary Lee in the nursing home on Sundays. He was so helpful and made time to help his aunt Ruby at home by performing household task. He helped others also and did it with a smile never complaining. Darria attended the Mountain House Program and his teachers and friends there loved him and he loved them also.
Throughout his life he had a host of friends many from the Larchmont apartments because he had such a helpful and caring presence. He was an extremely sweet, kind and caring person that just started to really enjoy life.
Diarra is preceded in death his aunt Parthenia Stivender, uncles Joe and Johnny Fuller.
Left to cherish his memory are his two sisters Reitha Morrison (Derek), Laverne Zachary, uncles; Luther, Phillip Jr., James, David, special aunt Ruth who was his caretaker, mother, gave him love and watched over Diarra for 20 years, aunts; Mary Lee, Ruby Lee Fuller and a host of other family members.
Funeral services for Mr. Diarra Fuller will be held on Friday, April 23rd at 2pm at New Mount Olive located on 2 Herman Street Street , Asheville, NC. Viewing will be held 11:00 am - 7:00pm on Thursday, April 22nd at Avery's Memorial Chapel, 542 Hendersonville Road Asheville NC, and again at New Mt. Olive at 12pm on Friday. Services will be live streamed on Avery's Memorial Chapel's Facebook page.
