Mrs. Dianne Davis Lester entered the world August 28, 1958 and departed May 17, 2022. She was born and raised in Charlotte North Carolina.

She was a graduate of Mecklenburg High School. Dianne moved to Asheville in 2000 and was employed by Minnie Jones Healthcare Center for eighteen years.

She was preceded in death by her parents Virginia Kay and Marvin Davis, brothers, Jay W. Jones, Joe Nathan Brown, James H. Jones, sister, Belinda King as well as other relatives and friends.

Left to cherish her memories is her husband, Rodney Lester, sisters, Jean Lowe, Nora Kay, Windy, Vickie, Charlotte, and Wanda Lester, brothers, Melvin and William Lester, a host of nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.   "We Love You"

A Memorial Service to honor the life of Dianne Davis Lester. will be held on Wednesday, May 25th at 1pm at Tabernacle Church located at 56 Walton Street in Asheville. The service will be lived streamed on Avery's Memorial Chapel Face Book page.
