Diane Bowditch Logan

The story of Diane began on August the 23rd, 1956 in Asheville when she was born to Charlie Lee Alvin Bowditch and Blanche Delois (Mucklevene) Bowditch. She was blessed with two children, Keesha B. Martinez and Mia L. Logan, both of Asheville. She married William (Bonnie) Logan in 1988. 

Diane loved and cherished three grandchildren and one great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by granddaughter Candance Pickens. Twin boys Qurann and Shaikeen Pickens will miss their grandmother dearly as will her great-grandson Zacchaeus Pickens. 

She will be sorely missed by her brother Charles Anthony Bowditch (Ellen) of Woodbridge, Virginia, and her three sisters Candance Elaine Williams (Eugene) of Fayetteville, Georgia, Gerald Ann Proctor of Austell, Georgia, and Maria Donella Foster (Bruce) of Asheville. 

Diane was employed by Burlington Factories for many years. She was also very proud to have worked for the Land of Sky Foster Grandparent Program. She furthered her education at Asheville Buncombe Technical Community College where she pursued degrees in early childhood development and culinary arts.

She left this world on the evening of June 29th, 2018 and is now present with the Lord. 

Services for our sister will be held at Rockhill Baptist Church, 486 Caribou Rd, Asheville, NC 28803 on Tuesday, July 3, 2018 at 2 p.m. Family will receive friends at 22 Canterbury Road, Asheville N.C., 28805.
