David Werts Obituary

(Due to Covid-19 concerns, all who attend memorial service are REQUIRED to wear a face mask and practice social distancing)

David Anthony Werts was born December 27, 1962 and took his flight on October 5, 2020.

Proceeding him in death is his father Eurie ( Tom) Werts and his mother Janet (Maybin) Taylor, sister Janet ( Diane) Robinson, and brother Clarence (Brother) Hines.

Remaining to cherish his memories are his two beautiful daughters Quannett Huges, Montoya Maxwell, and son Jaiden Werts, grandson Ty'Veon Williams;  all of Asheville. His sisters Elizabeth (Libby) Wright of Spindale NC, Shirley Hines of Asheville and Sandra (Hines) Elliott of Atlanta Ga; brother Steve (Cassandra) Hines of Asheville.  Many neices, nephews, cousins and friends.

The family will receive friends and family at the their home located at 51 Hampton St. in Shiloh on Friday October 9, 2020 from 3pm to 7pm.

A Memorial Service honoring David's life will be held Saturday October 10, at 1pm at the World Wide Baptist Tabernacle located on 85 Choctaw St. in Asheville, NC. Viewing will be held Friday October 9, from 10am till 7pm at Avery's Memorial Chapel. The service will be streamed live on Avery's Memorial Chapel's Face Book page.
