Darian "Scrunchy" Rice

Darian Jermaine Rice aka "Scrunchy," a friend to all who knew him, went home to be with our LORD on Monday March 16, 2020. A lifelong resident of Asheville, he was the son of Mrs. Doris G. Rice, and the late Kenneth Rice, Sr.

Scrunchy attended the Asheville City Schools, and was involved with the ROTC program at Asheville High. He would later receive his GED. Living his life to the fullest, he touched so many lives along the way through all his ups and downs. Through it all, he never lost his faith or trust in GOD.

Left to cherish his memory is his wife Taura Sinclar, daughters Terleighia Johnson, Dariana Rice, and Kalyn Perry, son Darian Davis, brothers Kenneth Jr., Reuben, and Jonathan, sisters Anne, and Tracey Smith (Clinton), a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and special friend Ciesha Robbs. 

Darian will be available for public viewing on Thursday March 26 between the hours of 9:30am - 2:30pm, (Due to the current situation with the Covid - 19 Virus, only 5 people will be allowed in the funeral home at a time).
