Dante Delmain Mosley

Dante Delmain Mosley, a long-time resident of Greenville, SC, entered eternal rest on Friday, January 17, 2025. Born and raised in Asheville, NC, he graduated from Asheville High School with the class of 1993.

Dante was a serial entrepreneur who started out as a barber at a very young age. He went on to pursue a career in music by starting his own record label, “Big Baby Ballaz,” at which time he produced and recorded several young artists. Dante later entered car sales, where he gained notoriety for selling affordable and luxury vehicles. His latest entrepreneurial venture was successfully marketing, “Cash Vodka,” and having it placed on the shelves at major liquor stores.

Though he was wildly successful with all his business ventures, Dante’s greatest legacy was, and still remains his family! As his businesses continue to thrive, the greatest achievement will be the love he had for his cherished family members, and they will honor Dante’s memory by living out the ideals he set forth.

He was preceded in death by his mother Carrie Joan Mosley, father Charles Lindsey, and brother Dennis Mosley, Jr.

Left to lovingly cherish his memory are his sons Daquieze Marshall, and Tevarion Wilson, daughters, Nyah Hallums and Adore Mosley, grandchildren, Aubrielle Marshall, LaViana Marshall, and Zema Fling, sisters Catrina Mosley, Carmala Mosley, Cassandra Mosley, Nikeya Lindsey, Chibreia Lindsey, and Antoinette Jackson, brothers Charles Lindsey, Jr., Edward Lindsey, Jerry Lindsey, Charles Lindsey, Victor Morman, Cedric Davis, Shaun Lindsey, Calvin Madden, and Willie Hayes, Jr., special father figure Willie Hayes, Sr., several nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends!

A Funeral Service to honor the life of Dante will be held on Sunday, February 23, 2025, at Nazareth First Missionary Baptist Church (146 Pine St.) at 2pm. He will lie in state prior to the service. Burial will be at Sunset Cemetery following the service. The service will be live streamed on Avery's Memorial Chapel's Facebook page.
