Curtis Earle Obituary

Curtis Roy Earle was born July 24, 1945, to the late Chevis R. and the late Nora O. Earle in Asheville, NC. He received his heavenly wings on April 5, 2023, at Care Partners Facility here in Asheville.


Curtis attended the Asheville City School System and graduated from Stephens-Lee High school in 1963. After graduation he entered the US Army as a paratrooper where he served a tour in Viet Nam. He was employed at Square D Company and Eaton Corporation during his lifetime. Curtis loved listening to music and spending his leisure time with his granddaughter.


Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister Julia Rice and her husband Roger of Anderson, SC, and brother-in-law Calvin Morton.


Left to cherish his wonderful memories are his loving wife of 50 years, Elinor Rose Brown Earle. Out of this holy matrimony were born two children, a loving and caring daughter, Shanetta of the home, and a caring and ambitious son Chevis of Orlando, FL, another love of his life his grand-daughter Ahna of the home, sisters Annie R. Morton of Phoenix, AZ, and Dorothy Bellamy (Richard) of Asheville, NC, brother Marshall Earle of  Asheville, NC, as well as a number of nieces, nephews, and many friends.


At Curtis' request, there will not be any services at this time, but a celebration of life will be held at a later date for his family and friends. The family is receiving friends at the homestead located at 49 Old Concord Rd. Fletcher, NC 28732.
