Carroll Therian Robinson, 73, of Hendersonville, NC, passed into eternal rest on Thursday, June 12th, surrounded by his daughter and sons. He was born on January 31, 1952, in Hendersonville, NC, to James T. Robinson and the late Mary Demps. A loving father, son, grandfather, and man of great faith, Therian was well-known in his community for his generous spirit, passion for golf, and love for the Dallas Cowboys.

Therian dedicated much of his life to serving others and was heavily involved with his church after retiring from BellSouth. He was known for his unwavering generosity and love for his friends and family, always ready to help those in need. Outgoing and vibrant, he was the life of the party, with a smile that could light up the world. His presence will be truly missed.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Mary Demps; his sister, Eva Robinson; and his brother, Tony Robinson. He is survived by his father, James T. Robinson, of Maryland; his sister, Earka Robinson; his brothers, Adolphus Demps, Darryl Demps (Annie), Tyrone Robinson, and Dennis Braswell (Sandra); his daughter, Charriat Robinson; and his sons, Carroll K. Robinson, Sharone Simpson (Stacey), and Dakota Robinson. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Nicholas Steele, Berklee Robinson, Brody Hensley, Acelyn Shirley, Sharone Simpson II, Cassidy Robinson, Yhshua Robinson, Israel Robinson, Rebecca O'Neal, and a host of nieces, nephews, and great-grandchildren.

A Funeral Service to honor the life of Carroll will be held on Sunday, June 22, 2025, at 3pm at St. Paul Church, 813  6th Avenue West, Hendersonville, NC. He will lie in state one hour prior to the service. Viewing will be held at Avery's Memorial Chapel on Saturday, June 21, 2025, from 12pm-4pm.   The service will be live streamed on Avery's Memorial Chapel's Facebook page.
