Arthur Lee Hall

Master Sargent Arthur Lee Hall went home to be with our LORD on Tuesday November 7, 2023. He attended South French Broad High School but received his GED and Business degree while proudly serving our Country in the United States Army, from which he retired after 25 years of service. He also retired from Continental Teves, and he worked as a security guard at the Asheville Mall. Master Sargent Hall was a Member of Merrimon Avenue Baptist Church where he gave his life to Christ and was Baptized.

Arthur Lee loved spending time with his grandkids for which he also helped raise. He loved shopping, and you could catch him with his shopping list clip board and calculator because it was always about maintaining his budget.  Arthur Lee loved collecting coins and was particularly proud of his President Obama coin collection. Arthur Lee was the Patriarch of the family, and always had financial advice and words of wisdom to bless anyone he came in contact with. He was the glue of the Hall family and will be greatly missed. 

He was preceded in death by his wife Meg Frances Roland Hall, mother Mattie "Estelle” Hall, father Jessie "Knotty Joe" Henderson, and brothers Earl and Samuel Hall.

Left to cherish his memory are sons Rodney Allen, Lee Anthony Maxwell, and Phillip Hall (Latoya), daughter Dawn Lakisha Hall, grandkids Paris Hall, Le’Ashley Hall, TyNieka Hall, Arrianna O’Hannon, and Sa’ Niah Hall- Garner, great- grands Pharaoh Hall, Zaylin Smith, and Jaiden Mills, all of whom carry his middle name “Lee,” brother Teddy Hall, sisters Vera Crenshaw, Gloria Smith (Benton) of Ohio, and LaFreida Flack of Maryland, and many other nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Viewing for Master Seargeant Hall will be held Tuesday November 14, 2023, from 10am to 7pm at Avery's Memorial Chapel.
