(Due to Covid-19 concerns, all who attend the Funeral Service are REQUIRED to wear a face mask and practice social distancing)

Annthea LaShae “Shae Shae” Waddell-Sanders gained her angelic wings March 27, 2022. She was born July 16, 2005 to Dana Waddell in Asheville, NC. She was a raised in Buncombe County until she and her mother moved to Rutherford County where she resided.

Annthea means “Beautiful Flower” and that is what she was. She had a light and a free spirit that is unstoppable. She had a smile and a glimmer in her eyes that was the most mesmerizing thing to see.

Shae Shae as everyone called her, at a young age took interest in basketball and played from 1st grade thru 6th grade. She also ran track and cheered. One thing she loved to do is dance. She had moves and could create her own dances without thinking about it. Shae had her own sense of style and that maked her so unique and beautiful.

The most important things to Shae were her family and friends. Her mom was her best friend and sidekick. There bond was unbreakable. She was her brothers’ number one fan of his music and knew every song word for word. They would hop in the car and jam out. She loved her sister beyond words. They fussed and argued and at the end of the day they were sitting chilling with each other like nothing happened. The sunshine in her life was her nieces and nephew. She loved them to the moon and back. She had so many friends in her life that is unreal. Shae loved to cut up, laugh, dance, and just act crazy with them.

She is preceded in death by her grandma Mary Waddell, pops Sammie Waddell, her stepdad Omar Williams, grandma Ethel Kerr, big brother Nathaniel Crosby, great granny Mary Hagan, great pawpaw Dan Hagan, several aunts and uncles.

Left to cherish her beautiful soul are her mom Dana Waddell, special dad William Sanders, brother Quintin Waddell-Williams, sister Bethany Waddell-Williams, sister Makayla Barbee, nieces Omaria Flack, Zola Waddell-Williams, nephew Malikai Lipscomb, uncle Patrick Waddell, aunt Wanda Waddell, auntie Teena, Ty, and Alex, extended family Aundreas Hill, Jaylon Hill, Christian Drane, Dorthy Felkel, Rayven Meadows, best friends Alyssa, Sierra, Daishya, Keilayah, boyfriend Kaden, other family Michael Morrison, Linda Morrison, Kaysha Morrison, Cia Morrison, many other aunts, uncles, and friends.

“A free spirit is not bound by this, that, matter, materialism, or opinion. They sing, dance and flow on the wind — for they are at one with it. They are nothing and everything — void and expanse. Even space and time does not confine or define them. For they are pure energy itself.” – Rasheed Ogunlaru
