Ann Jackson Kincaid entered this world August 3, 1953, and she went home to be with the Lord on March 29, 2025. She was the daughter of Earl Benjamin Jackson and Sibbie William Jackson of Asheville, NC.
Ann Jackson Kincaid received her GED at AB-Technical Community College 1973. She began the workforce at various companies such as Asheville Dying and Finishing, Tandy Electronics, Charles D. Owens Manufacturing Company, The Vanderbilt Shirt Company and Mills Manufacturing Corporation all for several years.
Ann received the Lord at a young age. She also rededicated her life back to Christ in 2018. Where she served at Sycamore Temple C.O.G.I.C. under Superintendent Samuel L. Payne Jr. Ann, served on the Choir. She had such a green thumb and attended the plants at Sycamore Temple. Ann helped with the Grant Project for Sycamore Temple. She loved her Pastor and First Lady Janice Payne, and the members of Sycamore Temple love her as well. Everyone said that she kept them laughing.
Ann Jackson Kincaid was proceeded in death by her parents Earl and Sibbie Jackson. Her sister Mary Elizabeth Matthews of New Jersey. Her Brother Billy Jackson of Asheville, NC and Granddaughter Regine’ Symone Horton of Asheville, NC.
Left to Cherish her memory is her Daughters Surina Kincaid Williams (Hugh), Ella Kincaid Searles (Benjamin) and Son Alvin Lewis Kincaid 11 all of Asheville, NC. Her Sister Ruby Harris of Asheville, NC. Johnny Jackson of Asheville, NC. Jimmy Jackson of Asheville, NC and Linda Jackson of Asheville, NC. Grandsons Dwayne Horton Jr. (D.J.) Christopher Lordman and granddaughters Zacora Searles (ZZ) Melissa Jones and Renee Mikell of Washington, DC. Ann has a host of great grands, nephews, nieces and other relatives. And not to forget her long-time childhood friend of 50 years Shirley Ward.
Ann Jackson Kincaid will be missed by all who loved her.
A Funeral Service to honor the life of Ann will be held on Saturday, April 5, 2025, at Sycamore Temple Church of GOD in Christ (376 Hendersonville Rd) at 3pm. She will lie in state one hour prior to the service. Viewing will be on Friday, April 4, 2025, from 12pm to 7pm at Avery's Memorial Chapel. The service will be live streamed on Avery's Memorial Chapel's Facebook page.
