Ahmad DeShawn Shivers was born October 27, 1998 to Kimbrly N. O”Hannon and Atwan D. Shivers, both of Asheville, NC.

Ahmad was a graduate of Asheville High in 2017. He was a football superstar running back, not only did he love football, but he also loved basketball, track, and soccer. Ahmad enjoyed music and making songs on his own. He loved to dance, crack jokes, and being there for others. Ahmad was very outgoing and had a wonderful personality, he was a prankster and had a beautiful smile that would brighten any room he walked in.

He is preceded in death by his grandmother Teresa O’ Hannon, grandfathers Gregory Logan and Elder Victor Burgin.

Left to cherish his memory are his parents Kimbrly N. O’Hannon and Antwan Shivers, son Mateo Shivers, significant other Maya Nonez, siblings; Chelsie, Caleh, Ahmir, Anthony, Rosalyn, Majik, Kiannah, Ah-Zaevion, Grandmother Frances Burgin and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and extended family and friends.

A funeral service to honor the life of Mr. Ahmad Shivers will be held Friday, June 17,2022, at Nazareth First Missionary Baptist Church (146 Pine St), at 2pm. Viewing will be held one hour prior to the funeral at the church on Friday.
