Vera Ann Kilgore

Ms. Vera Ann Kilgore 71, of Asheville passed away on Friday June 7th at her residence. She was born January 3, 1948 to the late John and Azalee Kilgore. She was a graduate of South French Broad High School and went on to receive an Associates Degree in Business from Durham Business School.

She was preceded in death by one brother Harold Taylor.

Vera is survived by her daughter, Allison Pearcy, and seven brothers and sisters; James Kilgore, John Kilgore Jr., Charles Kilgore, Sandra Kilgore, Linda Martin (Jerome), Errol Kilgore (Helen), Lydia Littlejohn (Wendell), and many nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday June 15th at 1:00 pm at New Mount Olive Baptist Church located at 2 Herman Street.
