Reggie Dewayne Jeffries was born on December 11, 1979 in Asheville, North Carolina to his proud parents Charles Coon and Carol Diahann Jeffries. He grew up in Asheville and was educated in the Asheville City and Wake County School Systems.
He was a loving, kind natured person. He loved people. His warm cheerful smile was very catching and could light up the room and brighten up your day. He was very devoted to his family and friends and he never met a stranger. In his time of suffering and on his bed of affliction he unselfishly expressed his love and concern for others. Though Reggie’s years on this earth may be considered brief, they were not in vain. The gift and legacy of his life leaves a great and lasting impact on those who know and love him. We will all miss him dearly.
Reggie is preceded in death by his grandmother Dorothy Jeffries.
He leaves to cherish his memories, his loving mother, Carol Diahann Jeffries, step-father, Richard McKay, brothers; Ryan O’Neil Jeffries, Richard McKay Jr., sister, Daphnie Jeffries, grandfather, Ruben Jeffries, a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, other friends and relatives.
A service of remembrance and celebration will be held on Monday, February 11, 2019 at 1:00 pm at Nazareth First Baptist Missionary Church located at 146 Pine Street.
