Patrick (P.J. , P. Jeezy) Bouvea Rice, Jr.

Patrick B. Rice Jr., 32 died at Mission Hospital on Wednesday, June 26, 2019.

Patrick was known for his big heart and beautiful smile. He never met a stranger and was willing to help anyone at any time. He was a protector and was always concerned about his family’s needs and how he could help them.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents Willie and Dorothy Carter, paternal grandmothers, Sallie Rice and Dorothea Rice and uncle Willie Lee Carter, Jr.

Those left to cherish his memories are his mother Darlene Carter, dad Patrick Rice, Sr., daughter I’anya Rice, son Jabril Patterson, girlfriend Artiscia Shivers and her two boys, whom he loved like his own, sister Ebony Thompson, brother Chayse Battle, aunts; Lawana Rice, Tawana Rice, Carolyn Carter Maples (Willie), Teresa Tolbert (Rickey), Jackie Chambers, Pollette Shepherd (Harp) and Geraldine McDaniel, Naomi Barton, uncles; David Carter (Famatta), George Rice ( Nancy), god mother Dannette Rice-Cross, special cousins, Ricky Tolbert, Daniel Rice, Ronald Bryson, Jr., Brandon Rice, Makaius Brewer, Raejon Patterson; extended family; Maceo James, Travis James, Nick Benjamin, Travis Sillery, Shatikqua Williams, Harry McQueen, Dominique Tenant and Angelo Mosely.

Services for Mr. Rice will be held on July 6th at 2:00 pm at Tried Stone Missionary Baptist Church located at 100 Carroll Ave. Visitation will be held 1 hour prior to the service.
