Michael Anthony McMorris a.k.a. McBean passed away January 5, 2019 at the age of 60. McBean was born July 8, 1958 in Asheville NC, the son of Lenora E. Reid McMorris and Jesse Smith.

McBean attended Asheville High School, Class of "77". He had a love for football and basketball and he loved all his family.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by brothers; William C. Reid, Richard Ray Roberts and Lonnell McMorris a.k.a. Butch.

Surviving to carry on his memory is Felicia Porter his only daughter and two grandchildren; Chyrelle A. Ray and Commensin Ray, brothers; Robert McMorris (Grace), Johnny McMorris (Valerie), Danny McMorris (Pam), Ceasar Wannamaker, Isaac Shippy, Eddie Smith and Clifford Smith, sisters; Mary Harkness a.k.a. Juni, Janet Gaines, Laverne Lordman, Melanie Faulks a.k.a. Irma, Linda D.Young, Carolyn Graham (Johnny), Renee Williams (Alfred), aunts; Stella Longshore and Elaine Durham, uncle, Jerome Durham and a host of nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews and great, great nieces and nephews.

The family will have a private ceremony.
