Larry McDay

Larry McDay Sr., was born July 29, 1953 in Asheville, NC to the late Mr. James and Mrs. Mable McDay Sr., He departed this life to be with the Lord on April 9, 2018.

He was a resident of Asheville, NC all his life. He attended Asheville City Schools. He was a strong, smart, compassionate man, and had a heart of gold. He always tried to help others. Everyone that knew him describes him as humble, meek and one of the nicest people you could ever meet. Friends and love ones always enjoyed his company.

Larry is preceded in death by his father and mother James and Mable McDay Sr., and his sisters; Sandra McDay, and Mary McDay.

Left to cherish his memories are his children; son, Larry McDay Jr. and daughter Brittany McDay, sisters; Barbara Byrd (Joseph) and Kaleen McDay, brothers; James McDay Jr. (Nita), and John McDay, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
