Johnie Robert Plaire

Johnie Robert Plaire, 83, passed away Monday, September 2, 2019 at the V.A. Hospital in Asheville. He was born January 28,1936 in Columbus, South Carolina.

He was fun loving and enjoyed life.  Johnie was friendly and was a familiar face in the community and never met a stranger. He worked very hard for many years as a cement finisher and was an avid golfer.

Johnie is survived by his loving daughter, Stephanie Foster of Asheville, NC.

A Memorial Service for Mr. Plaire will be held on Saturday, September 7, at 12:00 pm at Brown Temple CME located at 32 Phifer Street in Asheville. A visitation will be held 30 minutes prior to the funeral.
