Fannie Logan Obituary

Fannie Logan, 93, born July 7, 1924 went to be with her Lord and Savior, on Friday, May 18, 2018. She was born in Rutherford County to the late Ernest and Emma S. Young.

Fannie was educated in Rutherford County Schools. She moved to Fletcher, NC in 1957. She was domestic worker. She was employed at St. Genevieve School and retired from Irene Wortham as a foster grandparent. 

She was a care giver to many in the community.  Her hobbies were cooking and gardening. She was a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church, where she served on the Usher Board. 

She was married to the late Otto L. Logan, Sr.

She is preceded in death by sisters; Darletta Lowrance, Rosalee McCraw, Thelma Ledbetter, Macie Young, brothers; Fred , J.L., Jacob, Robert, Floyd, and Ernest Young Jr.

Fannie is survived by her children; Nevada (Richard) McCoy, Priscilla (Stanford) Woods, Joyce (Gerald) Sibert, Otto L. Logan Jr., George E. Logan and Jonathan Logan and sister, Mae H. Lynch , one first cousin; Skip Forney, a number of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She will be greatly missed by those that loved and knew her.

Mrs. Logan's funeral service will be held Thursday, May 24, 2018 at 2pm at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church in Fletcher, NC. Visitation will held 1 hour prior to the funeral service.
