Charles Edward Harrison

Charles E. Harrison passed away peacefully on September 30, 2018 at St. Joseph Hospital. He was born in Asheville on May 19, 1938 to the late Effort Harrison and Joyce Ann Adams Harrison.

Charles attended Stephens Lee High School and Blanton’s Junior College. He was a member of the Volunteer Senior Program and a deacon at Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church, Inc. He was also a member of the Layman’s League.

In addition to his parents, Charles is preceded in death by his brother Ernest Harrison and sister Minnie Moore.

Left to cherish his memory are his siblings; Willie Harrison of Hendersonville NC, Boyd Harrison (Betty) and Elizabeth Galloway (Eugene) of Asheville NC; several nephews, nieces, great nephews and nieces, cousins, other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held on Monday October 8 at 1pm, at the Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church, Inc. at 47 Eagle Street Asheville, NC.
