Andy McMinn

Andy McMinn, 74 of Hendersonville, N.C., peacefully passed away on June 15, 2019. Andy was the son of the late Enoch Paul McMinn and the late Irene Nash McMinn.

Mr. McMinn was a graduate of the former Ninth Avenue High School and retired from General Electric Company in Hendersonville.

Mr. McMinn leaves behind his daughter Samora J. McMinn and two granddaughters, Navia K. Taylor and Ariyana K. Taylor of Brooklyn, New York and a host of nieces and nephews.

A celebration of life will be held on Monday June 24, at 1:00pm at Contemporary First Baptist Church in Hendersonville with Rev. Donald McDaniel officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the funeral. Burial will immediately follow the funeral at Oakdale Cemetery in Hendersonville 

In lieu of flowers, the family request that a donation be made to Contemporary First Baptist Church in honor of the Rev. Dr. James McMinn scholarship fund: 429 Harris and C Streets, Hendersonville, N.C. 28792.
