Jacquelyn "Jackie" R. Hudson

Mrs. Jacquelyn "Jackie" Hudson went to be with our LORD on Tuesday April 23, 2024. She was born August 29, 1973, in Asheville, to the late Brenda Rhodes, and Father Jackie James. She was the oldest of 3 children and was a Graduate of Asheville High School. 

Jackie married Rodney Hudson in 2007. They had 3 beautiful children. She gave her life to CHRIST in 2005, and never looked back. A regular attendee of Ever Learning Faith Ministries Church, she was a devout Christian, loving mother, and dedicated wife who cherished her relationship with the LORD as well as the relationship with her family. 

Her words had the power to change lives, as she influenced many of us by just being herself. She was a fighter in her everyday life and in spirit, who was outspoken and blunt in the most caring way. To know her was to love her! 

Other than her father, Jacquelyn leaves to cherish her loving memory husband Rodney Hudson, children Shaniece McQueen, Quanzae James, and Naomi Hudson, 5 Grandchildren Dankwane Haddock, Zaykwane Haddock, Kaleeyah Haddock, Kmane Haddock and Ramir Haddock, sister Belinda James, brothers Matthew James and Tony Clark, and host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and many close friends.

A Funeral Service to honor the life of Jackie will be held on Monday, April 29, 2024, at the Nazareth First Missionary Baptist Church (146 Pine St.) at 2pm. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the funeral. Burial will be held at Sunset Cemetery immediately following the service. Viewing will be held at Avery's Memorial Chapel on Sunday April 28, 2024, from 1pm - 5pm. The service will be live streamed on Avery's Memorial Chapel's Facebook page.
